About Shotton St Saviour

Saint Saviour’s is the Parish Church for Shotton Colliery. It has been part of the community since it was consecrated in 1854. There is said communion at 8 am on a Sunday, with a Sung Eucharist with choir at 10:30am. There are also said communion services at 7pm on a Tuesday, and 9:15am on a Wednesday. There is an active Church lads and Church girls brigade, which meets on a Thursday evening. There is also a monthly pie & pea supper in the Jack Turnbull hall, on the first Sunday of the month in aid of the brigade. There is also a monthly coffee evening, and 2 Church fayres annually, a summer one and a Christmas one. A Bible study group meets in Church fortnightly on a Saturday morning.
