About Wheatley Hill All Saints

The Church was built in 1873 as a mission church of St Bartholomew’s Thornley and dedicated in 1915.

A sculpture of the Madonna and Child by John Skelton hangs in the Lady Chapel.  This is the original sculpture from which all other copies were  taken and a bronze  copy is in Chichester Cathedral.  The stained glass windows at the east end of the Church depict Christ in Majesty by Harry Harvey of York.

The service on Sunday is at 10.30am when held at Wheatley Hill.  On the last Sunday of the month, we alternate with Holy Trinity, Wingate and this service begins at 10.00am when held at Wingate

Baptisms are held on Sundays at 12:15 by arrangement.

Messy Church every other month on Sunday at 3pm, with refreshments.
